Shingles vaccine update | Zostavax

There has been a change to the funding of the Zostavax shingles vaccine.
From the 1st of April 2018 one dose of Zostavax is funded for all adults turning 65.
At present it is also funded for anyone from age 65 – 80 years inclusive, but this finishes on the 31st of December 2020.
If you are between 65 and 8-0 and have not received your shingles vaccine, please be aware your window of opportunity for getting the funded vaccine is going to finish at the end of the year.
