Ministry of Health measles update

The Ministry of Health, DHBs and PHARMAC have been working with regional distributors, PHOs, and practices to manage the distribution of MMR vaccines to ensure they’re available to protect our most vulnerable. Additional vaccines will arrive in New Zealand in the next few weeks and MOH are continuing to manage the situation carefully so that the vaccines can get to where they are most needed.
To help keep you up-to-date while the situation with measles continues to evolve, MOH have set-up a webpage as a ‘one-stop shop’ with advice, including about travelling to areas with measles outbreaks and immunising children aged under 12 months. To visit, use link below:
